that's exactly the problem. This morning when I got up and looked at the motor with decent sunlight, it became obvious. Is the bottom nut like a jam nut and the upper longer nut the one that will have to be most backed off? So would that be the lower nut turned just slightly counter clockwise and the longer nut above turned clockwise to disconnect the linkage?
