Try treestand hunting first. It' s the most popular way to hunt deer. Then try my personal favorite. Ground hunting. For me, it opens up so much more possibilities. I don' t like being stuck in a tree without the opportunity to move to a different spot if the deer aren' t where they were last week. Ground hunting is more difficult. You HAVE to play the wind, stay much stiller, know exactly where your deer are going to be coming from (yeah right! still haven' t got that one figured out yet ), and be a scent control nut. But it' s a serious rush to have even a doe come in to within 30 yards of you on the ground. Good luck and keep us posted.
