Default RE: Baiting for Deer.

I used to be against the idea of baiting deer untill I moved to Texas.

In east texas most of the hunting woods are pine thickets with dense under growth and a person needs every advantage they can get. Other wise you would never see the deer moving in amongst the pine.

Back home in the Show Me State the areas that I hunted were hard wood forest' s with dense canopy' s and very little under growth allowing you to see. Not to mention the ability to set up over a natural " acorn" baiting station.

I can say that I have been on both sides of the fence and can relate to both.
