Agreed, the standards for a "Shooter" are completely different around the country. You don't need us to tell you if we think if its a shooter or not. If its a good buck for you and you'd be proud to take him than that's all you need. If you'd be proud to take him than take him.
Seems like a lot of people are putting an emphasis on the size of a deer's antlers and what other people think than just going out and taking a deer that you are proud of. Go out, have fun and if a deer walks out that you would be proud to take then take him. Don't worry about what random internet posters would say, your the one that gets to admire him everyday on your wall. Good Luck!
