If you pull the limb savers off one bow, yes, you need to completely clean the base before attaching more tape. For some reason, glue on glue doens' t work. And, if there are any small pieces of the tape left on there, you' re not getting a good bond due to air gaps. Make sure they are clean as a baby' s butt and you' ll get good adhesion with the new tape.
