i hunt in an area that has people hunting it basically everyweekend. they pheasent hunt in a field taht is surrounded by wooded land. there is an apple orchard with i think crab apples in it. then just hardwoods all around the side. what i was wondering is if there is any way to draw the deer into a certain spot. there is houses on the side of the field across from the orchard about 200 yards from the orchard there is about 25 yards of woods seperating the field from teh yard. what i wanted to know is if there is anyway to keep the deer in a certain area. the people cant shoot guns here because its close to the houses. but i can hunt there. so is there anyway to try and hold deer here via feeders (home made cuz i dont have money im only 16) or like just lay corn around, i really want to get these deer to come to this certain spot. and what time would be good to hunt it evening or after noon or try and get there before the birdhunters come so maybe they can push the deer my way? any advice on keeping them there or scents to use or anything would really help me a lot thanx. oh yea it doesnt have to be bucks i just watn to see deer there. adn remeber these woods are hunted pretty hard but there is obvious sign the deer are there. anything will help thanx phil im me at automockersux for any advice. thatnx a million
