I wear Guide Gear Carnivore 1,000s , Cordura with no leather trim , and love ' em . Rubber may not pick up smells , but it has a smell of it' s own that ain' t natural in the woods . Keeping your boots clean and using a good cover scent on them will make almost any boot serviceable . Personally , I think rubber boots are overrated , my Carnivores work just fine . All leather is something I avoid , once they' re contaminated they' re very hard to deodorize .
