come on be real 30-06 not up to the task,,,how many 06,s have you shot you can buy leads up to 220 grns,,,1900 fps or 08 is good too,,most guides like people to shoot a gun they can hit with ,,not jump and close thier eyes flinching...if a 06 will drop a moose itll kill a elk...man sometimes coments like that make my blood boil...lol
