There is a product called rehydrate that is made for dogs, comes in tabs or powder, I usually give it to the dogs BEFORE activity (electrolytes during activity or dehrydration actually make dehydration worse in the short term) to load them before hand.....

Higehr fat or higher protein during season, agree that meat should be the first few ingrediants, stay away form corn as a first three or so ingrediant, also soybean protein is not as digestable for a dog, so if there is a lot of soybeen, the bag says and is higher in protein then what the dog has available to him.

Raw bones good, cooked bones bad,
