Thanks for the advice. The bow I have right now is set at 63 lbs and averages 243 fps and it is good for the deer we have in this part of the country but I can only shoot it a couple times before the shoulder starts hurting. I am just concerned with dropping 10 lbs on the pull and loosing the penitration that I will be wounding the deer and if I am not confident that I can put the deer down every time (even though I know that is not going to happen) then I would have to give it up. It seems that the faster the bow is rated then the more kinetic energy can be transfered. Any advice and set ups (bow, arrow weight, ect.) would be appreciated also. Just trying to keep my mind open to different things and well informed.
