This is a subject that is very broad to cover as most archers don’t know what the stabilizer is for much less buy the correct stabilizer for their bow. Each bow I have has a different stab. I often make my own with carbon rods; depending on what I’m going to do with the bow. I have some for hunting, some for indoor, some for 3D and some for my long distance exhibition shows.

Most buy stabs to take away vibration and shock, and most stabs on the market do very little to the bow to really affect the way the bow performs. Study what stabilization is for, go on some websites and search it out. Go on Jim Posten’s website and see what he does with stabilization and balance.
