I have 3 letter C drills in my possession, all from different makers. Because they made to a +- tolerance they all measure slightly different in diameter. You might try picking one up from a different source/outlet. Having 3 different size c drills allows me to adjust the pocket to fit the current lot of Primers that I am using. Primers are also made +-, remember a shotshell head is very forgiving, and some what void of tight tolerances. :-)

I buy primers in lots of 5k minimum at a time.
