My son is big for his age. (5'+ 105 lbs.) I have been going out west to MT. ans SD. for several years and he has been with me when school allows but can't hunt.
I would love for him to be able to hunt with me. He is dying to kill a mule deer!

He is a good shot and killed all 4 deer he has shot at. Hit them all in the heart or lungs. The futhest on was 225 yards and the closest about 80 yards.

Here in Florida the deer are not that big. I killed a large 6 pt. with my bow last year that weighed 180 lbs. That is the biggest bodied deer I have ever killed around the area I live. The deer only have to score 100 B&C to make the Florida record book, so they do not get to big. Florida has never had a typical whitetail make the book.

We do have plenty of deer. Residents are allowed 1 per day and a total of about 120 days to hunt!! Lots of meat for the freezer!!
