After reading most of the posts - I will get in late with a couple.

I do not use Rem Oil in the bore as it contains teflon - use it on the outside a lot but I do not want teflon in the bore.

I started using a product called Slip 2000 a couple of years ago - it is really and excellent bore protectant...

Then I have also started using Montana Xtreme Bore Conditioner. It is also an excellent product.

With both of these products a very little bit goes a very long ways...
