Scope Help
A few months ago or so, I took my Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 off my Omega and repleced it with a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32. Before shooting the Omega with the 2-7, I swapped it back out with the 3-9 and put the 2-7 on a slug gun. I bore sighted the 3-9 after mounting it again. Wednesday I went to the range and shot from 25 yards and was on paper. I was low and left and could adjust for height but ran out of adjustment to the right falling a few inches short of centering the windage. In looking down at the scope from the top of the barrel, it appears my scope is slightly canted to my left. In comparing the lens with the rear sight, I would expect it disect the scope in the middle but it looks like more of the lens is to the right of the rear site if shouldered and pointing downrange. I took the one piece weaver base off, took the mounts off and re-mounted everything and it looks about the same. What gives?
