Non residents archers need to apply for a site specific permit for JEPC. I think the deadline was a couple months ago.
Otherwise, I can't tell you much - other than like many public areas in IL, it can be crowded on weekends particularly around the rut. There are some nice deer taken off of it every year tho'. (It's a four point on side size restriction area) I hear good things about the place and have thought about checking it out but havent' yet.
