I think if the goal was a lightweight rifle, a short action 270wsm would be a better starting point than a long action 270win.
If you're looking for just your standard rifle, they're pretty close, I believe the wsm shoots 150grs at the same speed the win shoots 130grs.
Course I'm pulling for the wsm to really catch on, would be hard to go either way IMO.
If I had to lay money on which would still be around in 30years, I think the smart money is on the 270win, the wsm? I think it should be, but it's newer, so you never know, but I think the 270 and 300wsm should be around.
