I think I'd either want a very trusting and PH backing me up closely...or a gun barer nearby with something big...

I hear ya about always wanting to take something with a certain caliber, for me I really want to take a buff with a .458-500gr bullet.

I know they make 160gr bullets for the 270, maybe a 160gr solid? Of course I guess it would depend on what the dangerous game was...cape buff/elephant, vs. lion/leopard, etc...?
O' Connor took grizzly, jaguar, lion, tiger, and leopard with a .270 most shooting 130s some shooting 150 partition. I assure you the 150 will kill a cape buff, just didnt say where I was gonna shoot him. Im gonna try to kill everything I can with one for sure.
