heinz57: I have the Wild View Ez Cam. I have been using Pure Energy "C" batteries for the last three or four months. They are a rechargeable battery available at most Wal Marts. The batteries are manufactured in Canada. The Canadian price is $10.97 for a package of two before taxes. The recharger is just under $30.00 Canadian. The price of the charger may sound high but: 1) it is capable of recharging 4ea. either AAA, AA, C or D and also has a port for 9 volt. The batteries come precharged with a reading of 1.55 volt as compared to the cheaper brands of 1.2 to 1.25 volt. Recharging, I have got them up to 1.60 to 1.65 volt using a digital multimeter. I use the "C" batteries in the Wild View and also in a Spy Point IRB. Wild View Ez Cam will only take pictures, whereas the Spy Point can be set for either pictures or video. My Wild View will except SanDisk and Lexar SD cards up to 2GB. Hope this helps.
