First three most important rules are...practice, practice, practice.....Don't leave any doubt in your mind that when you release the arrow the deer will die.
All those other things like scent, wind, camo don't mean a thing if you can't properly place the arrow.
Learn to shoot a bow correctly first,
proper practice makes perfect.
