Movement is what gives you away not the Color of your ML.
Totally agree, but it is much easier to hide movenent to a even color blind animal if the object moving is difficult to decern or see.

Camo offers that added abilty... even back in time during the French and Indian War 'Roger's Rangers' practiced the art of deception by wearing 'green' wool uniforms in the eastern forests. Really did tick the English off.

Wonder why military snipers bother to hide their rifles by hanging all that camo stuff off their rifles or as matter wear them hot Gilleys suits that they wear?

As an added comment I would also add that sounds may be the biggest alerter of a problem to an animal.
