Why don't you try baiting with fermented corn. I haven't tried it yet myself but I hear good things about it. Dig a four foot deep hole with a post hole digger. Fill it back in with alternating layers of fermented corn, rasberry or strawberry jello powder and some dirt. To ferment the corn you take a 5 gallon bucket of corn and fill it with water, then add some yeast packets. Snap on the lid and leave it in the Florida sun for a few days. Make sure that you eat something that hogs like to eat also before you go out to set the bait. That way you'll just add to the bait if you lose your lunch when you open the corn bucket.
