I shoot 00 buck in my 12 gauge, but can' t find any for 20 gauge 2 3/4" shells.

3 buck is the best I can do. Will this still work at 25 yds. or less? It patterns well, but I' m not sure if the power is there. This will be his 1st deer and I don' t want him to wound it due to underpowered gun...
