it's been a wildcat for more than 40 years!!! could be that it doen't do much that the standard .270 will do other than a short action...amazing how many of these so called wildcats don't really do all that much better..
Same could be said for any 308 based cartridge, that has a 3006 based version. Im not saying it desperately fills some much needed niche, but it just seems odd, that w/ all the seemingly redundant cartridges introduced over the years, a commercial 270-08 would be available by now.
