I don' t have a Patriot, but do have a Pro 38 DC. I have always thought my bows sounded a lot quieter outside than inside. Is is possible that the noise is coming from one of your accessories like a rest or sight? Vibration should be a string, cable, or loose screw or part.

I agree with the others. I have used the Matt/PA method of sliding the Vibrablocks down to the limb pockets, installing limb savers, and using stealth leeches on the string and cables. Very quiet along with low recoil, good speed and accuracy.
