Good question. I want to know the answer too.
Part of me wants to tan it myself just because then I could say I tanned it myself. Then the other part of me does not want to spend a bunch of money I don't have getting it tanned.
Even if it was just $50(still a lot for me at the moment) that is $50 that could go back into the hunting equipment or a good afternoon at the range.
