Default No Plow and First TIme Planter

Im lookingto put in a small plot, maybe 1/4 acre near my stand mostly just to get some pics and see add another food source.I am looking at the best place to plant. The srea I have is roots, real moist andhas alot of mossy, peaty type soil.I have raked alot of the ground bear. This area gets abvout 3 or 4 hours a day of dabbling sunlight due to the white birch trees overhead.

The second area is an open cutdown that was harvested last year.It has alot drier and more hard packed soil that is full of sticks, ect. This area gets direct sunlight all day but is pretty dry.

My question is which area do you guiys think would be best for the WHitetail Institute to be planted?thank you!
