and some Harvester sabots I shot saturday and they seemed quite loose in comparison to previous load mentioned and accuracy suffered my groups are now 4-5 inches
Did you by chance buy the crush rib sabots? The crush ribs look like they are serrated: They do load easier.


Go to the MMP and Harvester websites, both sell the green sabots for the .429 diameter bullets...
Exactly there is also a green crush rib sabot for the .430 bullet. I have a big bunch of short black sabots that came with the .430 240 grain XTP bullets. I think they were sold by Traditions. That short black sabot loads very hard but is also the most accurate in my old CVA Stag Horn.

There is a .451 240 grain XTP bullet- it is the XTP Mag model.
