In the mid-late 80's I got my first "real" compound. Before that I had hunted with recurves and a Bear Whitetail. It was a Pro-Line Force II.

I hung it up 2 years ago. I had probably been through 10 strings and maybe 50+ deer with that bow. I wish I had it back. I loved the "forgivingness" of the long bow. I also was a fingers shooter. The new bows don't seem to lend to shooting fingers...at least with me doing the shooting.
