My rem700 mtlss 7-08/leupold 2.5-8x36/w/ steel mounts, weighs about 7.5lbs total. Ive carried it up and down ridges all day w/ no problem. Very weather resistant & looks great! The whole set up cost me about 1300$ .

I read that titanium actions are rough, and a 6lbs rifle in anything over 243 will probably kick pretty good.
