The GL2 is a nice cam.. only real complaint about it would be how much it sucks in low light... other than that, the GL2 is an awesome cam!.. But for $1,400 I would take a look at the Sony PD-150.. That's a sweet cam! Does everything the GL2 will do for you and has awesome low light! Also, I like the ease of adjusting the manual controls a little better on the PD-150 than the GL2, but the GL2 is not bad by any means.
