Sorry to report that my season's over with no bird. My fault though, I missed one at 15 yds. Sat. evening. When a quiet bird comes in and gives you about 5-7 seconds to snap out of your coma, (sat for about 5 hours that day), it's a tough situation. Bird came in from the brush on my left and appeared at 18yds walking right into my 12 o'clock position. Got the red dot turned on, safety off and gun up without him spooking, but took the shot the second I saw the red dot on his neck. If I had calmed myself and settled the gun and gave a cluck on the mouth call we would be scoring another 50 points. Even worse, my follow up shot was a misfire with factory hevi-shot. Dent in the primer, no bang. Sorry fellows you'll have to do it without me this year.
