Very few hit the 40+ yd target, although there was at least one shot that hit inside the ring. What made it so tough was you stood just behind some sweet-gum saplings and it gave most shooters tunnel vision--it looked more like 25 yds than 42.
It wasn't that hard to put out. One fellow had gone in front of us and set targets out on the trail. Two people (myself and one other fellow) set the targets and the stakes. It wasn't bad at all. One stood at the stake, the other at the target, and you adjusted one or the other (or both) to make the shot. Some shots were a little easier (or tougher) depending on whether you were right or left handed.
The Lofton died a slow death--I reckon last year was it for them.
