Spurs-1" left 1 1/8" right
Weight-my scale is showing me a little over 23lbs.
So say 23lbs.
Thought i over slept,Hurried my gear grabbed a bottled water from fridge and hurried out the door.
I got to my spot to start walking in at 5:30am.
I Heard him gobbling as i was walking up pole line.
I snuck in as close to the gobbling as i could.
I realized he was on the ground already.
And coming towards me,
I guess my soft footsteps in leaves,Got his attention,And he thought i was a hen.
I quick sat where i stood.
Raked the leaves one time with hand,2 soft muffled yelps from mouth call.
He came running!!!Rolled him at 25yrds.
Dont know why,But I clobbered him again!LOL.(NO WAY WAS I LETTING THIS ONE GETAWAY!)
Messed Him up pretty good!!
Most of his feathers etc.
Was using the Magnum blend hevi shot,Out of my mossberg 930 autoloader!!!
Feathers everywhere!!
So that hunt was over as soon as i got there.
Didnt even have time to catch my breath from the walk in!LOL.
Got 1 more tag left,But its gonna b hard to beat this one
