I bought a Quest QS31 last fall and I'm very pleased with it. It's smooth and quiet. I got rid of my old bow, a Pearson Spoiler because of the choppy, rough draw. It was very fast, but my shoulder has had problems and I needed something smoother.

I bought the 60# model and have it set on about 55#. It's not as fast as many other bows, but it is quiet and puts the arrows where I want them. Stouter limbs and a longer draw length would obviously increase speed.

For the price, I think it's a very good bow. Quest offers a $50 rebate for military and auto workers. I fit into the second category, so I got an additional 50 bucks off the already low (compared to many other bows) price. After my rebate, I had under $400 in it and the shop threw in a free whisker biscuit.

On Halloween last fall, my first time out with the bow, I took my best buck to date. I'm not going to give credit to the bow, but it was a little ironic.

I would definitely recommend Quest based on my experience. From what I've heard, G5's customer service is as good as it gets. Get one in your hand and shoot it. See how it feels. If it feels as good in your hands as mine did in my hands, you'll be walking out of the bow shop with one of your own!
