Hey Sabotloader, I've been thinking about your comment. I agree it's long, but I really like it.

So I got to wondering why this gun pleases me so much even though I've always liked the looks of TC Renegades more than TC Hawkens. I now believe it's a matter of proportion.

I looked at a premium authentic style Hawken on the Track Of The Wolf site, and did some comparisons. On the TOW gun the stock makes up 3/5 (60%) of the total length of the gun - the same as my TC Hawken with the long GM barrel. On a TC Hawken with the factory length barrel, the stock makes up 3/4 (75%) of the total length of the gun.
