Yeah them d@^n hammer block safteys sure do suck. Makes about as much sense as a safety on a revolver. The one on my Marlin " outfitter" .444 almost cost me a sika buck. The only reason it did not was a KNEW what I did on the first click. The abscence of a hammer block safety is the one thing I like about my old M94. But I guess we have to have them for the people who don' t understand their guns.
