WOW... good thing someone finaly posted a " relevant issue!"
The problem with the letter of the law or the spirit of the law is that if you go by the spirit of the law than it is left up to you to interpret. This is not good. " I think it' s a 3 1/2 yr. old." When in reality it could be a 2 or so. Now this in your example isn' t the case because there' d be no doubt as to the age, but it " starts" something, ya know?
That' s why the law has to be the law because we can' t decide we can change it when we want. To use the speeding example: We could decide that since speed limits are put in place to protect people from un-safe driving that since we are all safe drivers (ya right ) we can speed because we' re obeying the spirit of the law. You can' t go this route, IMHO, or your getting to where everyone decides for themselves whether or not their doing the right thing.
WoW! Bravo on the post! You totaly redeamed yourself!
PA folks, You don' t want the people in your state to start picking this rule apart. It won' t work if you do. Just like the speed limit didn' t work for me on the way home tonight from the fishing trip.....I know, I' m an unethical driver[

] If PA thought everyone could judge age on deer they would have done things differently. Fact is they can' t and you don' t want this idea to sound ethical because to many speeders I meen hunters will violate the law. The big difference between speed zones and point restrictions is, the later is a great idea and will be awesome if everyone abides by the law. When someone is doing the speed limit, you slow down and roll your eyes. O yeah, why in the
