Had a chance to fire a few rounds of .300 Win. Mag through and old Winchester 70.
Recoil wasn't bad at all. Just kinda seemed like the next step up from the 7mm. Rem. Mag.
Thinking of maybe a .300 Winny in a Ruger no. 1
26" barrel and overall length of a 22" barrel bolt rifle.

Opinions????
