You won't believe it but it hurts my shoulders to shoot compound these days. Holding all that wieght at 12" of draw compared to me holding all the wieght at full draw. Its just different and hurts me. With a tradbow, your back is doing all the work at full draw. But with a compound, you forearm is doing alot of it during the draw. I say give it a try.

Big difference however is the bow shoulder hurts more with trad bows. Quite the opp with compounds.
