I've got 3 years experience with cameras. All my camera are in bear boxes and lag bolted to trees:

Moutrie D40
Inexpensive camera. White flash. Poor trigger. Poor battery life (6 D batteries). Great pictures. Great features (delay, 3 shot burst). Very big and obvious on a tree. Uses 4G SD card. Card is hard to change out because of location. For $80 you can't beat this camera over a food plot or feeder. If it takes 200 pictures a week, about 40 will be game and the rest thermal changes or trees blowing. Customer service is OK and if you send back the 1yr warranty restarts.

CuddeBack Capture IR
My dependable go-to camera. Small. Easy to conceal. Incredible trigger...pictures always centered. Hate the fact it doesn't have a burst mode...only takes one picture at a time with adjustable delay from 30 sec to 10 minutes (maybe more, but I keep mine on 30 sec). Good battery life...about 6 months for 4 D cells. Easy to program. Only uses 2GB SD card, but very easy to change out with gloves on. IR range is short and if the buck is more than 25' from the camera, you may not be able to make it out. Will easily over/under expose if not pointed due North or South...not very forgiving on this aspect. If it has 50 pictures on it when you check it, all will be of deer, raccoons, bears, etc....no empty shots.

Bushnell Trophy Cam with viewer
Tiny camera that seems delicate, but I've had it in the field for over a month and no problems. Trigger is not exactly centered, but good enough. Great picture quality. Battery life seems good so far although I hate all those AA batteries in it. Don't waste your money on a viewer as you can't make out sh#t with it in the field. 2GB SD card, but the newer models can support 4 GB. IR range is better than CuddeBack. So far so good with this camera although my friend had two that were crap right out of the box that he sent back. They sent him 2 new ones, so the customer service is OK.
