I took my son Ty out both mornings, and we had alot of action. To the point it became frustrating, becasue Ty wasn't able to get a shot. Ty did pass on some jakes Sat. morning. Ty wanted a long bird on his last youth hunt. We were just having trouble sealing the deal, by weird mishaps. 1 x deer spooked a longbird away. Another time 2 fighting jakes turned 2 nice toms away from us. But Sun. 10:30 it finally happened for Ty. He downed a nice tom w/9 1/4" beard, w/ 7/8" spurs. Ty was so happy, and I was a very proud father.
