Well I didnt plan on going out any this weekend because of the "horrible" storms we were supposed to get. I havent seen any rain besides little spurts in the evenings.

Needless to say I havent been out like I would have liked cuz I scheduled my weekend for everything BUT hunting. I did manage to get a little time in Saturday but I couldnt get a gobble out of anything!I did get a hen to respond and actually spooked another but thats it.

My friend says they dont gobble on cloudy days???? Is that really true? I am totally new at turkey hunting but it defnitely seemed true that day haha
