That's what I am saying there is nothing that works the best when fishing trout, at least the wild brookies up here. Although when the hatch is on there is absolutely nothing that compares to a good fly rod and dry flies. Matching the hatch will be nothing but positive.. I had tried a little early season brook fishing up here and have caught 3 decent size brookies but it is still s little early. My biggest was a 14 incher with 2, 10 inch trout.
