Has green up really taking place yet in WI.? The only reason deer hit salt/mineral licks is because when they eat lush green vegetation their potassium levels rise, the more their potassium levels increase the more sodium (salt) their bodies need to counter balance their potassium levels. This is the same reason why deer stop using licks/blocks around mid sept. when leaves, grasses, Ag. crops etc. start to turn brown and die. Over the next couple weeks you should start to see traffic around your mineral site increase. Pike
