Sometimes deer are funny about mineral licks. In the past I had used a mineral lick of the same exact mix in 2 different locations. The locations were 80 miles apart. 1 location the mix was torn up, and I was getting more pics than I could keep track of. The 2nd location deer hardly touched it, and that one was located next to a good deer run. I think alot of it depends on what the deer have for food sources in the area, and what their systems need. For example if there's a natural salt spot they may not use a mineral sight as much.
