Ok here it is Guys. We hunt a few thousand acres. The hunt fee of $100 per day with a 3 Day "minimum" ($300) (You may hunt longer if you choose) covers us putting in food plots feeders, stands and blinds. Lodging and meals are at your expence. We have a motel and resurants in town and we also have a local Bed and Breakfast that will provide meals and lodging together. We do incourage hunters to bring along their own stand or blind if they choose to but its not required. We will be managing the property with feeders food plots and trail cams throughout the year to help keep our hunters on good deer. The reason I have priced my hunts this way is to make it a fair price that everyone can enjoy. I just don't feel right about charging someone full price when I can't gaurantee them a deer. It's kind of like playing the lottery scratch offs. If it cost $2500 for a chance at $2500 they sure wouldn't get very many players now would they. I've been on the other side and know what it feels like to take such a big gamble on a hunt and if I wasn't succesful it sure would have been alot easier to swallow not to mention easier to explain to the wife. I just want people to pay for what they get not just a chance. This pricing also helps Me manage my properties for trophy deer by not puting my hunters in that must kill situation. We've all been there. It's the last day of the hunt and we have paid for a deer and were not going home empty handed even if it isn't a trophy. Well this keeps us from feeling that we might just as well kill a deer we paid for it. So thats the story behind my hunts. As far as my hunters success just check out my web page.
