You can normally get the CR BOSS also at no extra charge. The BOSS system is very much worth it. It will improve your groups, but more than that, it will do it with all ammo. No more worrying about getting the same lot number of ammo etc. Just practice with it before season, tune the BOSS, and you' re good to go. It' s also great for using heavier bullets. If you were getting the 30.06, and say the rifle really liked the 150 grain bullets, but nothing heavier, the BOSS would make the 220 grain bullets shoot like the 150' s and you could then use them for Elk, Bear, Moose, etc. The CR BOSS is not ported. It gives you the tuning benefits without the noise. And YES!!! The standard BOSS is very, very LOUD!!!!
