Denali Park bans wolf & bear hunting/trapping
All of them are in predator control areas. Unless the park service align themselves with the state they will not get predator numbers down to manage able numbers. I know many do not agree with the taking of sow w/ cubs however bears and wolves have destroyed much of the ungulate population in these areas. The Board of Game does not tale these kind of actions lightly. Many people in those areas depend on moose & caribou for food, they are the boards priority.
