Like M. Magis said there is no way to tell, depends on the individual deer. But the average whitetail buck will have its biggest jump in antler size between 3.5 and 4.5 years of age.
As far as feeding minerals supplements, they only beneift deer in supplying them with a source of salt and you would have to spend a ton of $$ to see any benefit from protein pellets. Pike
